Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs is a book about a boy who’s life is turned upside down when the stories that his grandfather tells him come true. It was really good! They made a movie about it in September, which I haven’t seen, but I really want to. This is a great coming of age story, as well as a fantasy story. The characters are amazing and there are pictures in it, which makes it more convincing and easier to picture the characters. Some of the peculiar children are difficult to describe, so it helps to have a visual. Also, the pictures are so amazing and look so real. Anyone who likes fantasy, and maybe even historical fiction a little bit will like this book.
